Join Ryder as a Mobile Automotive Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Performs complex diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, fluid checks, and alignments.
Ability to diagnose, repair or replace engines including alternators, starters, and radiators.
Hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
May operate out of mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards.
Represent Torque/Ryder to establish a relationship with the customer.
Utilize key functions of Salesforce and ensure proper documentation of work orders.
Perform environmental duties such as site inspections and site clean-ups.
Work in accordance with all federal/regional and corporate compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational or Professional diploma preferred
4 years or more in combination of classroom training and work experience
NonCommercial Driver License CLASS E
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
