Job Description
As an Inventory Control Supervisor at GXO, you will lead a dedicated team to optimize warehouse operations and enhance service quality. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, supervising staff, and fostering a positive work environment to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies
Prepare schedules
Supervise the Inventory Control team and provide training and coaching
Monitor work quality to deliver exceptional customer service
Demonstrate understanding of the company quality policy
Adhere to the GXO 7S program
Maintain a clean environment
Communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and other departments
Implement continuous improvement action plans
Required Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime
U.S. citizen status to meet government and federal law program requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
Ability to support and communicate company safety guidelines
