Position Overview:

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Bronx, New York . The ideal candidate will have a strong surgical background and proficiency with Epic EMR in an acute care setting.

This is a day shift position with 12-hour shifts and guaranteed 37.5 hours per week .

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: 11/10/2025

• Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: Days – 12-hour shifts

• Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3-4-5 schedule)

• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Care Setting: Acute

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License (Required)

• BLS and ACLS (Required)

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience

• Epic EMR proficiency (Required)

• BSN not required

Charting System:

• Epic Systems Corporation – EpicCare Inpatient (EMR)

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures

• Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs

• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper surgical documentation

• Participate in pre-op and post-op care coordination

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties (Ortho, General, GYN, ENT, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
