Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments
Educate patients and families about IR procedures, sedation, and post-procedure care
Administer and monitor moderate sedation
Monitor hemodynamic status during procedures
Assist physicians during procedures
Recognize and respond to complications
Provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery care
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with healthcare team members
Adhere to hospital safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
PALS or ENPC Certifications
ACLS Certification
RCIS/RCES Certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
