ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Patient ratios typically 1:4 (may flex to 1:6 on rare occasions)
• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• 12 hours orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required with strong ventilator experience
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Must be comfortable floating between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact) required at time of submission
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Maximum 7 days request time off
• Navy scrub color required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients with pulmonary stepdown, intermediate care, ventilated trach patients, COPD, and high acuity respiratory patients
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, ventilator care, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, tracheostomy management, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care
• Must complete pre-start Epic training modules and infusion pump/glucometer training
