Join Servpro Industries as a Corporate Counsel, where you'll play a vital role in managing corporate tasks, focusing on franchise law and transactional matters. You'll draft, review, and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with franchise regulations, all within a supportive legal department environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and perform contract review, negotiations, and drafting of business contracts
Provide guidance on contract terms and the contracting process
Ensure franchise registrations are updated and filed timely
Confirm compliance with FDD requirements
Verify in-house materials and training on franchise laws are current
Ensure compliance with franchise legal and regulatory matters
Prepare franchise documents in collaboration with legal and franchise development teams
Assist in general IP related matters as requested
Execute additional projects and duties to support business initiatives
Required Qualifications
Law degree from a top academic school
Licensed in the State of Tennessee or covered under current state license reciprocity
Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
Franchise law experience with a law firm or in-house legal department
Experience with drafting and negotiating national vendor/supplier agreements
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
