Key Responsibilities
Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse
Documents outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Communicates changing conditions and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
Assists with basic health care needs and daily living activities
Provides housekeeping and laundry services
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Minimum age of 18
High school graduate or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains a record of continuing education credits
