Job Description

The Foreign Trade Zone Manager will oversee compliance and operations of the FTZ program, ensuring efficient logistics and coordination across departments. You will lead a team, manage audits, and troubleshoot logistics issues, playing a crucial role in regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and compliance activities of the FTZ program
  • Manage logistical, administrative, and compliance activities with FTZ coordinators and inventory controller
  • Ensure timely submission of entries to Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
  • Coordinate with cross-sector departments to optimize FTZ operations
  • Prepare and perform audits and inventory control reports
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex logistics issues
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with FTZ regulations
  • Lead, develop, and grow a team of employees

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, tax/customs or related field
  • 7+ years of logistics or materials management experience in an FTZ environment
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP
  • Customs Broker license or experience in import/export compliance
