The Foreign Trade Zone Manager will oversee compliance and operations of the FTZ program, ensuring efficient logistics and coordination across departments. You will lead a team, manage audits, and troubleshoot logistics issues, playing a crucial role in regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and compliance activities of the FTZ program
Manage logistical, administrative, and compliance activities with FTZ coordinators and inventory controller
Ensure timely submission of entries to Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Coordinate with cross-sector departments to optimize FTZ operations
Prepare and perform audits and inventory control reports
Troubleshoot and resolve complex logistics issues
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with FTZ regulations
Lead, develop, and grow a team of employees
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, tax/customs or related field
7+ years of logistics or materials management experience in an FTZ environment
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP
Customs Broker license or experience in import/export compliance
