Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury
Work as part of a home health team focused on patient care and goals
Assess patients, establish therapy goals, and document progress
Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination
Suggest adaptive equipment for added support
Assess fall risks and improve home safety
Educate patients and families on plans of care and self-care
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Active OT license in Florida
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience in home healthcare
CPR certification
Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
Good clinical judgement
Strong interpersonal skills
Resourceful and compassionate
