RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Float pool position across general med surg, rehab, and behavioral health units
• Work every other weekend including holiday rotation
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with 63-bed unit capacity
• Administer medications including Heparin and Insulin drips
• Work with patient types including Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg, Med Tele, or IMCU capacity required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel contract within previous 12 months
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Scrub color requirement: Pewter Grey
• Minimum 50-mile radius requirement from facility
• Same day clinician interviews available via phone/text from 405 area code
• Contribute professional nursing knowledge as member of interdisciplinary team
