Key Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge on vascular and cardiac therapeutic regimens
Assist physicians in health maintenance of patients
Patient navigation and care coordination for vascular clinic patients
Conduct and interpret laboratory test results
Educate patients on disease prevention and control methods
Support medical assistants and perform quality improvement audits
Manage specialty drug requisites and prepare accurate medical records
Required Qualifications
Current state RN license
Bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or vascular care
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a physician's office or similar setting
