Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate multi-system assessments
Develop individual nursing plan of care
Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for patient management
Evaluate assessment methods and patient response to treatment
Required Qualifications
Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience
One (1) year of current ED experience or completion of Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship Program in the ED
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
Basic Life Support
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Preferred Qualifications
Previous health care experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
CEN preferred
TNCC preferred
Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
Desire and ability to function within the nursing process
Desire and ability to function within professional and personnel standards
Ability to use and apply effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills
