Key Responsibilities
Assist patients of various ages in achieving maximum health potential
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary procedures
Serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff
Function as a health team member through independent and interdependent roles within the healthcare system
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a program in respiratory therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association
California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
2 years of Full-time hospital based acute care Respiratory Care Practitioner experience including Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Childbirth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU
