Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs for radiation oncology equipment
Perform routine calibration, testing, and maintenance of medical imaging and radiation equipment
Assist in treatment planning and dose calculations for radiation therapy
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and optimize treatment plans
Perform dosimetry calculations and verify radiation dose delivery accuracy
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
Conduct quality control and audits of imaging and treatment processes
Provide training and support to clinical staff
Analyze and interpret clinical data for treatment optimization
Participate in clinical research
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Medical Physics or related field
Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics or Diagnostic Imaging Physics preferred
Clinical experience in medical physics, preferably in radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, or nuclear medicine
