Position Summary: Valley View Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor RN for a night shift travel assignment. The nurse will deliver critical care and support throughout labor and postpartum phases, promoting safe and effective patient outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal health during all stages of labor
• Administer medications including pain management and labor stimulants
• Assist in deliveries and provide immediate newborn care
• Offer education and guidance to patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation in the hospital’s EHR system
• Uphold hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards
• Communicate effectively with obstetricians, pediatric teams, and other medical staff

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring and emergency response protocols
