Key Responsibilities
Effectively clean, inspect, maintain, and properly sterilize instrumentation and equipment
Distribute sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical cases and other procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of sterile supplies
Advocate for patient safety and adhere to sterile processing standards
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training and Successful completion of a sterile processing course
1 year of healthcare experience
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 18 months of hire
Experience using personal computer and basic software programs
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of Sterile processing experience
