Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment programs to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding healthcare documentation.
- Occasionally float to other facilities as needed for coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current certification in CPR/BLS.
- Strong assessment and clinical skills in speech and language therapy.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a nursing facility or acute care setting.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations is beneficial.
