Job Description

Join Intuit as a Remote CPA/Tax Preparer and help customers navigate their business tax returns. Utilize your tax expertise to provide exceptional service, while contributing to a company recognized as one of the best places to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
  • Provide expert guidance and explanations of tax terms to customers
  • Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products
  • Maintain sensitive customer information responsibly
  • Document customer interactions accurately

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney)
  • 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S)
  • Experience preparing at least 30 personal tax returns per tax year
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers
  • 2+ seasons of personal tax preparation experience
