Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float between multiple ER satellite locations in the East Valley area including Ahwatukee, Chandler, East Mesa, Gilbert, Mesa Baseline, McQueen, and San Tan Valley
• Schedule will be made in advance so you know which location to report to
• Work as one of only 2 RNs on staff at satellite locations
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio
• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start with maximum 2 attempts
• Pass/fail Sim Lab required on Day 1 of orientation covering Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion
• Must maintain sterile field competency as failure results in termination
• Additional orientation includes lifts, restraints, and wound care education
• Use T-System EMR and CERNER charting system
• Perform lab draws as ER staff
• Must be vent capable
• Wear Galaxy Blue scrubs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC (CPI preferred but not required)
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)
