Join AdventHealth as a Critical Care/Trauma Physician, providing remote overnight critical care services to ICU patients using advanced telemedicine technology. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote critical care consultation, management, and intervention for ICU patients
Collaborate with on-site intensivists, hospitalists, nurses, and advanced practice providers
Utilize telemedicine platforms for real-time patient assessments
Respond to rapid response events and emergencies
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Contribute to developing telemedicine operating procedures
Required Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
Active, unrestricted medical licenses in states serviced by AdventHealth
Active, unrestricted federal Drug Enforcement Agency license
Minimum 5 years of bedside ICU experience
Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine technology
Exceptional communication skills
