Job Description
As the Chief of Radiation Therapy and Department Development, you will lead strategic initiatives in Radiation Oncology, balancing clinical excellence with innovative treatment technologies. This role requires a dynamic leader to foster a collaborative environment while ensuring exceptional patient care and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Directs clinical and operational oversight of Radiation Therapy services
Leads strategic planning and implementation of new treatment technologies
Establishes and maintains radiation treatment protocols and safety standards
Evaluates and implements emerging radiation therapy technologies
Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures
Supervises staff and monitors work for efficiency and quality
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy
ARRT certification
Valid BLS certification within 60 days of hire
Minimum of Seven (7) years of continuous clinical experience
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
Expert knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and technologies
