Job Description

As the Chief of Radiation Therapy and Department Development, you will lead strategic initiatives in Radiation Oncology, balancing clinical excellence with innovative treatment technologies. This role requires a dynamic leader to foster a collaborative environment while ensuring exceptional patient care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs clinical and operational oversight of Radiation Therapy services
  • Leads strategic planning and implementation of new treatment technologies
  • Establishes and maintains radiation treatment protocols and safety standards
  • Evaluates and implements emerging radiation therapy technologies
  • Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures
  • Supervises staff and monitors work for efficiency and quality

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Therapy
  • ARRT certification
  • Valid BLS certification within 60 days of hire
  • Minimum of Seven (7) years of continuous clinical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Expert knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and technologies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
