Key Responsibilities
Perform specimen accessioning and processing
Operate laboratory automation and maintain lab cleanliness
Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and safety regulations
Maintain accurate documentation and support quality management systems
Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
Required Qualifications
High School Degree/General Education Diploma
Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience using computers including Internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or related field
Experience in a laboratory or similar environment
Knowledge of CAP, GLP, GDP, CLIA, NYSDOH, and HIPAA
Experience in troubleshooting automation and performing instrument maintenance
Lean experience (Kaizen, Kanban, root cause analysis, etc.)
