Job Description

As the Associate Director of Pricing at Sanofi, you will drive pricing initiatives for non-Alliance Specialty Care brands, collaborating with various teams to develop pricing and market access strategies. This role is pivotal in providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders, ultimately impacting millions of patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing stakeholders and senior management with relevant pricing and reimbursement information, support, and recommendations
  • Partnering with US and Global Headquarters Value and Access teams to design U.S. specific pricing and market access strategies
  • Assisting deal teams on Commercial, Government, Provider, and Institutional customer bids/offers
  • Designing and developing pricing models to evaluate the impact of pre- and post-launch strategies
  • Modeling the impact of life cycle pricing strategies and legislative measures on revenue
  • Supporting Brand Financial projections by providing insight on current market dynamics
  • Assisting with the approval and execution of list price changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related area
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience (Consulting or equivalent experience also considered)
  • Basic knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and reimbursement environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and executive presence
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Meticulous organizational skills and auditable accuracy in work product
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Advanced ability in using common analytical and communications tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to travel to key meetings and conventions

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MSA degree
  • Experience in a pricing capacity or relevant experience in Contract development, Channel Payer GTN Analysis and Deal Negotiations
  • Understanding of contract modeling, data sources used in modeling, GTN projections process and implications on brand P&L
  • Understanding of drug pricing, including First Databank and/or Medispan data sources
  • Knowledge of and experience working with government pricing calculations AMP, Best Price and ASP pricing dynamics
