Job Description
Join New Directions Mental Health as a Mental Health Therapist (Associate) to provide culturally sensitive therapy and assessments, contributing to a supportive clinical environment that fosters professional growth and client care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of documentation and billing
Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
Educational background leading to professional licensing
Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health
Preferred Qualifications
Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
