Join Whole Foods Market as a Team Leader overseeing the maintenance team at our food production facility. You will ensure safety compliance, manage budgets, and lead a team dedicated to maintaining our state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, all while contributing to our mission of nourishing people and the planet.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team and assign tasks
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental program standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop repair strategies
Implement preventive maintenance schedules
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies
Build a positive work environment and manage Team Member relations
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2+ years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience in the food manufacturing industry
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
OSHA safety certification
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes
