Join Cleveland Clinic’s Neurology Stepdown Unit as a New Grad RN Resident, where you will provide exceptional care for patients with complex neurological conditions while benefiting from a structured residency program.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
Perform complex neurological procedures including intracranial monitor placement and lumbar punctures
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions
Seek supervision and consultation when needed
Document in patients’ medical records
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale certification
New grad RN OR less than one year of RN work experience
Preferred Qualifications
