Registered Nurse – ICU (Per Diem)

Unit Coverage: SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU
Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 07:00–19:30

• Night Shift: 19:30–07:00

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced ICU RNs for per diem coverage across Surgical, Medical, and Neuro ICUs. This is a high-priority need. Candidates must be confident in managing critically ill patients in fast-paced environments and possess strong clinical judgment.

Pay is shift-dependent and reflects applicable differentials for day or night coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver critical care to adult patients in SICU, MICU, or Neuro ICU

• Monitor and manage patients on CRRT, post-CABG, or stroke protocols (including TNK administration)

• Accurately document care using EPIC

• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state-specific)

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred

• Proficient in CRRT, CABG post-op care, stroke/TNK management

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)

  • NIHSS
