Emergency Room RN – Travel Assignment Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana Unit: Emergency Department Bed Count: 43 Average Daily Census: ~165 patients Patient Population: General medical emergencies, trauma, behavioral health General Job Duties / Responsibilities Emergency care nursing for a wide variety of medical complaints Collaborate with Fort Wayne PD and Parkview Behavioral Health for patients with mental health needs Care provided in both general ER and enclosed Behavioral Health Unit Team-based, collaborative nursing model Trauma exposure: moderate Participate in ongoing renovations and facility improvements Required Skills & Experience Minimum Experience: 2 years in Emergency Room (ER) nursing Travel Experience: Preferred – please list ER travel years in submission comments Charting System: EPIC (REQUIRED) Certifications & Licensure (Required) Indiana RN License (active) BLS – AHA only ACLS – AHA only PALS – AHA only TNCC Schedule & Shift Info Shift Options: All shifts possible (Days, Evenings, Nights – dependent on need) Nurse:Patient Ratio: 1:4 Floating: No floating to other units or departments Orientation Week 1: Monday–Friday (8-hour days) Week 2: Monday–Tuesday (8-hour days) Mandatory attendance required for all 7 days Dress Code Scrubs: Caribbean Blue
