Join Loudoun Veterinary Services as a Veterinarian, where you will provide high-quality care to a variety of pets while educating clients on their health needs. You will perform examinations, surgeries, and foster relationships with both pets and their owners in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop rapport with clients and determine their needs
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures
Explain findings and communicate diagnoses to clients
Generate and present treatment plans for pets
Educate clients on preventative healthcare
Maintain client/patient medical records
Stay up-to-date with new medical information
Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team
Represent the hospital positively in the community
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly with team members
Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
Compassionate team player
Commitment to the highest standard of medicine
Proficiency in surgery (a plus)
