The AccountingAdvisoryServices practice at CBIZ is seeking a Senior Consultant with 3+ years of experience in publicaccountingas well as industry experience as a senior accountant, accounting manager or consultant role to join the organization's team to support our national practice. The Senior Consultant will be an integral part of theaccountingadvisoryservices' team primarily focused on delivering technical and operational accounting support for clients, while developing managerial and client serving skillsets in a team-oriented environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high energy team and to directly impact the performance and success of the practice. Review Consultant work product and provide feedback Responsible for completion of engagements, including managing all aspects of project Conduct solid analysis; Participate in business development activities to include memberships in qualified organizations (alumni associations, chamber of commerce, networking groups, etc.) or regular business contacts with peers capable or eventually capable of referring potential engagements and cross serve opportunities Provideaccountingadvisorysupport to clients, including implementation assistance with newaccountingstandards Outsourced SeniorAccountant work Assist in the drafting of technicalaccountingmemos for various topics such as equity versus debt classification, revenue recognition, business combinations, leaseaccounting and other technicalaccountingmatters Performs technical industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information Assist in preparation of clients internal and external financial statements including supporting schedules and required disclosures Advanced analytical and issue resolution intelligence, problem solving is essential Well-developed aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis Proficient with PC environments and related software, including Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced skills in Excel Proficient use and analysis of computer models and development of dynamic spreadsheet applications Understanding of and experience with application and research of U.Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Bachelor's degree required ~3 years of experience in related field ~ Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally ~ Must be able to travel based on client and business needs The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000-$135,000.
