Job Description

Join Centene as a Quality Improvement Coordinator for Behavioral Health to lead initiatives that enhance clinical quality and ensure compliance. You will be instrumental in reviewing appeals and implementing performance improvement projects while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop and monitor clinical QI activities
  • Lead Behavioral Health Performance Improvement Projects (PIPS)
  • Review clinical information for appeals
  • Prepare cases for appeals
  • Maintain files and documentation in accordance with NCQA and State standards
  • Investigate and resolve behavioral health quality of care complaints
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • 2+ years in Clinical Nursing or Behavioral Health
  • 1+ years in Quality, Managed Care or Healthcare Administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHC)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
