Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Systems Engineer in Modeling & Simulation, where you'll work on complex systems to enhance national defense. Leverage your expertise in Digital Signal Processing and radar systems to solve impactful challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate design plans and requirements analysis
Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects
Develop and maintain modeling tools incorporating Digital Signal Processing
Incorporate radar system concepts to model their behaviors and performance
Incorporate effector system concepts to model their behaviors and performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in complex Digital Signal Processing
Experience with development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors, and analysis tools
Active U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline
Experience with system requirements capture, design, and decomposition
Experience with radar system concepts
Ability to read and understand technical design drawings and electrical schematics
Experience of taking ownership of tasks and leading technical efforts
Experience using MATLAB for model development
