Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Kansas RN license or Compact State RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSS, TNCC
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• At least 1 professional reference

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Adapt to changing situations and float to other units when needed
