Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and CPI
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry competency and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• 12 hours of orientation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 15
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, managing drips, IV management, wound care, tracheostomy care, and various stepdown unit procedures
• Must be prepared for potential hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November
