William Charles Construction is seeking a Project Manager for its High Voltage Group to oversee electrical construction projects in the clean energy sector. This role involves managing projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, budget adherence, and on-schedule completion, with significant travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Establish site-specific safety requirements
Create a Project Execution Plan
Financial monitoring and reporting
Manage procurement of materials and subcontracts
Submit monthly cost projections
Pre-construction planning
Project documentation management
Communication with contracting parties and owners
Project closeout and final documentation
Relationship building in local marketplaces
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience for Project Manager I
5+ years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience for Project Manager II
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience with Project Management systems (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
