MedAdventures is looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a skilled nursing facility team in Canton, OH . This position offers a rewarding opportunity to help residents regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

As part of an experienced rehab team, you’ll work with a diverse caseload, providing individualized therapy that promotes safety, function, and quality of life for every patient.

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents and develop personalized treatment plans that promote independence and functional improvement
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy focused on ADLs, mobility, and upper extremity strengthening
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programs
• Work closely with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and nursing staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous SNF or geriatric care experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and time management skills
• Passion for improving quality of life through patient-centered therapy
