Job Description
Join Monte Nido as a part-time Group Facilitator where you will create a safe environment for adolescents undergoing treatment for eating disorders. You will lead group sessions, support personal development, and document patient progress, contributing to a vital aspect of their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate group sessions
Facilitate interaction between group members
Maintain awareness of individual client's needs
Facilitate identification and congruent expression of feelings
Document group sessions including patients’ progress or lack thereof, problems, concerns and mental status
Follow the format and requirements within the program
Ensure timely completion of documentation related to direct patient services
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, interns, management and other professional colleagues
Attend mandatory training and in-service collaborations
Required Qualifications
Actively working on a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field
QMHP certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, etc.)
Prior experience treating those with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting
Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
