Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine educational eligibility and level of functioning
Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
Consult with team members and families to maximize generalization of target skill sets
Maintain accurate records of student progress, including therapy notes and assessment data
Manage time off for full-time school employees during school breaks
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
Current Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license
Experience in speech therapy (preferably one year)
Preferred Qualifications
Department of Education certification (if applicable)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, CPI)
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
