Key Responsibilities
Obtain accurate and updated patient information
Perform insurance verification on the date of service
Obtain patient signatures for required documents
Upload valid Government issued state ID and insurance cards
File and maintain medical records
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer telephone calls and take messages for the clinical team
Comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to travel to other offices if needed for coverage
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a medical front office
1+ years of experience with answering phones clearly
Knowledge of EMR software
Bilingual in Spanish or English
