Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain accurate and updated patient information
  • Perform insurance verification on the date of service
  • Obtain patient signatures for required documents
  • Upload valid Government issued state ID and insurance cards
  • File and maintain medical records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages for the clinical team
  • Comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to travel to other offices if needed for coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical front office
  • 1+ years of experience with answering phones clearly
  • Knowledge of EMR software
  • Bilingual in Spanish or English
