About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Technologist to join our cardiovascular team in Modesto, CA. This role requires advanced technical skills in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, including scrub, monitor, and circulator responsibilities. Candidates must be licensed radiologic technologists with strong clinical experience and flexibility to work across varying shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures including heart caths, pacemaker insertions, STEMI response, and balloon bump interventions
- Perform scrub, monitoring, and circulator duties in the Cath and EP labs
- Ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout diagnostic and interventional cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory and safety standards
- Participate in emergency call coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab experience
- Active Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in scrub tech, monitoring, and circulator roles
- Familiarity with interventional cardiac procedures and EP workflows
Preferred Certifications
- ARRT*
- CCI RCIS*
- State licensure*
Additional Details
- Local bill rate differs; local candidates may be subject to adjusted compensation
- Weekend and call coverage may be required based on department needs
- Candidates must be flexible with shift assignments
