Key Responsibilities
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning
Operate and maintain grooming instruments
Monitor pets for signs of discomfort or illness
Interact professionally with pet parents and provide optimal customer service
Maintain a clean and safe grooming area
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco
Previous experience as a professional groomer
Expert knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming requirements
High level of proficiency in breed-specific cuts and styling techniques
Preferred Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
