Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance plans for property and equipment
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Supervise and train Engineering staff
Create and manage Engineering staff schedules
Develop and adhere to the annual budget for the department
Implement preventative maintenance programs for hotel equipment
Ensure emergency and life safety equipment is inspected and certified
Participate in energy conservation programs
Address guest and meeting planner concerns promptly
Oversee vendor contracts related to the engineering department
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of supervisory or lead mechanic experience in a hotel or related field
Stationary engineer's license if required by local code
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills
