Key Responsibilities
Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision
Performs clerical and billing functions for the department
Acts as a receptionist for the Nursing Unit
Updates and retrieves information from the hospital computer system
Manages inventory and supplies
Interacts with patient families and staff
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
Basic computer skills
Ability to multi-task in a pressured environment
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to function effectively with newborns and new parents
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent work attendance and dependability
Preferred Qualifications
Previous nurse assistant or other patient contact experience
Strong familiarity with medical documentation and terminology
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card
