• Provide immediate postpartum care to mothers and newborns
• Monitor the health of the newborn and the mother
• Assist with breastfeeding and lactation education
• Provide guidance on newborn care, including feeding, bathing, and sleeping routines
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed
• Document patient information and care activities
• Offer emotional support to new mothers and families
• Educate parents on postpartum recovery and self-care
• Assist with developing healthy routines for the newborn
• Identify and address any postnatal complications
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the mother and baby
• Prepare and manage nursery supplies and equipment
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary

Note : This role involves nurse traveling to patient homes and providing care for anyone from newborn to 18 year old of age. Newborn visit might require to provide care for the mother as well which will count as 2 patients. Nurse must have PALS and have experience in at home setting.
