We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit . The RN will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, often with complex medical conditions. This role involves the use of telemetry equipment to monitor patient heart rhythms and vital signs, assess and respond to patient needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and patient education.
- Continuously assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including initiating emergency interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
