Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for ARC and CARE animals
Ensure high-quality, low-stress patient and population care
Manage, coach, and collaborate with behavior staff
Lead research projects related to animal behavior and cruelty prevention
Foster relationships with team leaders across the organization
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to successfully work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Comfortable participating in humane euthanasia decisions and procedures
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Low Stress Handling – Silver certified or can obtain certification within first year
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
