Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, support daily operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with diverse teams to create solutions that enhance production efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with root cause analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Tool/fixture development for improved ergonomics
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Teamwork and multitasking abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling, machinery, and programming
Experience with refurbishment and repair of Government Furnished Material (GFM)
