Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-service jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels
Inspect and evaluate clients' equipment in accordance with ASME and National Board codes
Consult with clients regarding inspections and evaluations
Work under the supervision of the Operations Chief Inspector
Required Qualifications
BS in Engineering or associate degree from a 2-year technical school or high school diploma (or equivalent)
Meet National Board In-Service commission qualification requirements
Acquire a passing score on the National Board Exam
Meet State requirements
Acquire a National Board Commission and certification from at least one jurisdiction within 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
National Board and state certifications
Qualified to review repairs in accordance with the NBIC and FMIC requirements
