Job Summary
Med Surg | Tele department with a 100-mile radius rule. 90-bed double occupancy unit. Start date is 11/3 (not flexible). No 48-hour guarantees, blocked scheduling requests, or more than 5 days of RTO. Navy blue scrubs required.

Responsibilities
Provide care to patients with common medical diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, radiation patients, AKI, and occasional post-op cases (lap chole, appendectomy). Administer non-titrated drips (heparin & lasix gtt). Collaborate with PCAs, charge nurses, and monitor techs. Use Bipap and stable trach equipment. Float to Med Surg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills Clinic RDU as required. Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years as RN, with at least 1 year in specialty.
Licenses & Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Epic EMR proficiency within the last two years.

Shift Times: 6:45–7:15 am/pm
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Typically 2 of 3 holidays
Call/Standby: Low census on call
Orientation: 1 NEO, 1 clinical education/Epic, 1 day on the floor
