Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Travel Nursing Job in Tualatin, Oregon

Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Tualatin, Oregon (97062) – Portland metro area
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 17, 2025
• End Date: March 18, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2340 - $2510
• Unit: Women's Services – Labor & Delivery
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:4 (nights & weekends)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend; up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Orientation: 24 hours (ASAP, any Wednesday)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license or proof of application/fingerprints submitted
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Experience circulating and assisting with C-sections required; scrub experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Advanced certifications
• Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to float within site and across the healthcare system as needed
• Willingness to work at least one winter holiday
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must complete assigned education within one week of assignment

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients, including high-risk maternity cases
• Circulate and assist with C-sections; scrub experience is a plus
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormal patterns
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips
• Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social services
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records
• Float to other Family Birth Centers within the Oregon healthcare system as needed
• Participate in orientation, ongoing education, and compliance modules
